TED WHEELER

Mayor of Portland

Ted Wheeler is the 53rd Mayor of Portland, now serving in his second term. He oversees the Portland Police Bureau, the Bureau of Emergency Management, the Office of Management and Finance, the City Budget Office, the City Attorney, and the Office of Government Relations. Prior to this role, Ted served as State Treasurer from 2010 - 2016. He won his first elected office in 2007, becoming Chair of the Multnomah County Commission.

A graduate of Lincoln High School, he has an Economics degree from Stanford, an MBA from Columbia and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard.

RUKAIYAH ADAMS

Chief Investment Officer - Meyer Memorial Trust

Rukaiyah Adams is the Chief Investment Officer at Meyer Memorial Trust and is a member of Meyer’s Executive Team. Prior to this role, she was Director of Investment Management at The Standard. She started her career as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer in San Francisco.

Rukaiyah has a JD from Stanford Law School and an MBA from the Stanford School of Business. She serves on the board of directors for Oregon Public Broadcasting and as chair of the Oregon Investment Council, the board that manages approximately $90 billion for the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund.
