What will the program be like during Community Blackout?

Community Blackout will be a celebration of our community filled with opportunities to create relationships and heal together. The day will start with a virtual event at 12PM (PT) that you can tune into from your home or office.

At 5:30PM, Black Parent Initiative will open our doors for a community-wide, all-ages open house and celebration where you can connect with BPI staff and learn more about BPI’s programs and new “Be the Healing” model. Food and drinks will be provided, as well as live performances from local artists in our community. Join us to celebrate with our resilient community! Masks and a signed Release of Liability form are required to attend the in-person gathering. Masks and forms will be available at the door.

We kindly ask that anyone joining us in-person who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 at the time of the event stay home to avoid contagion.

If you have any questions, please contact Sean Brannon at sean.brannon@thebpi.org.
